Nicki Minaj wasn't able to perform her scheduled summer jam 2012 performance. Due to her not being there she was dissed by two people. Funkmaster Flex, the host of Hot 97 radio show, after hearing the news about Nicki Minaj “bailing out” on her performance he stated that he wasn't messing with commercial rappers anymore(Rap-Up.com 2012 p. n.d). Also Peter Rosenberg a colleague of Hot 97,  dissed her by saying Nicki Minaj’s song Starship was bullcrap(Rap-Up.com 2012 p. n.d). After all this happening, Nicki Minaj and FunkMaster Flex had a conversation on Hot 97 Radio show where they straightened things out.(Rap-Up.com 2012 p. n.d).

Rugby 7’s Haka



The Haka is a traditional war dance from New zealand. There are thousands of Haka that are performed by various tribes and teams throughout New Zealand. The best known Haka of them all is called "Ka Mate". It has been performed by countless New Zealand teams both locally and internationally. It is normally performed immediately prior to the event that is to take place like a rugby match to intimidate the other team

BYU vs  Arkansas State D1-A final

Byu and arkansas state are considered to be the top two college teams in the country

On the BET network, the hosts of 106 & Park Terrence J and Rocsi announced that they will be leaving the show. Steve J. Hill, the President of music programing also confirmed this news ( Diaz, 2012 p. n.d). This will be a big deal for the media and other fans because they have been hosting for seven years. In my opinion this is a good thing because they will have so many other opportunities to do other things. Throughout the years the host have covered  memorable events on the show such as the death of Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and also, the inauguration of the first Black president ( Diaz, 2012 p. n.d).

In today's society, there are many big fans of Justin Bieber. Lately, there have been a lot of rumors going around about him. According to Jaime Lutz (2012),  teen heartthrob Justin Bieber was involved in an altercation with a photographer in California (p. 1). This was very surprising news to me. When I first heard it, I thought it was a joke.
I thought this rumor was all a joke until I looked on the news. According to Jaime Lutz (2012), a photographer reportedly attempted to take Bieber's photo outside of a Calabasas mall which led to some type of physical altercation between the two (p. 1). In my own opinion, if the photographer attempted to take a picture when I didn't want to take one, i might have did the same thing. I was honestly shocked when I saw this on the news. the most shocking part about this rumor was the video i saw.
As I saw the news on the internet, I saw a video with Justin Bieber boxing. In Jaime lutz article it states (2012), Cynics have long reduced the 18-year-old pop star to a pretty boy, but lately he seems more like "Pretty Boy" Floyd Mayweather, Jr. On Sunday, Biebs allegedly "physically battered" a paparazzo trying to snap a picture (p. 1). The most shocking part was seeing Justin Bieber boxing in the video. I believe justin Bieber saw this as self defense. justin looked like he is a quick learner in the video which i shown below.

          The Game Of Rugby 7’s

Rugby is usually played with 15 people on both sides and 40 minute halves
but there is another type of rugby game called rugby 7’s its the same exact
game same rules and same field size but there are only 7 people on both sides and the halves are 7 minutes each.

acording to rugby.com/sevens, (2012),There are several variations in laws which apply to Rugby Sevens,is  to speed up the game and to account for the reduced number of players. The main changes can be found below

• Seven players per team on field instead of 15.
• Five substitutes, with only three interchanges instead of 7 and 7.
• Seven minute halves, though ten minute halves are allowed in the final of a competition instead of forty minute halves.
• One minute half-time, two minutes in finals instead of ten minutes.
• Matches drawn after regulation are continued into extra time, in 5-minute periods.

All conversion attempts must be drop-kicked (instead of having the option to place

• kick).
• Conversions must be taken within 40 seconds of scoring a try (instead of 60 seconds)
• Three player scrums (instead of eight players),(p.n.d).

Rugby is one of the best known sports around the world, it is second behind soccer. Rugby is a sport that consists  of a person having good character and really being a team player because it takes all 7 people on the team to score on try, and also rugby can create a lot of opportunities for you as an adult because you can get a full college scholarship playing rugby,acording to USA rugby.com (2012),there are over 1000 schools in the U.S that have rugby teams and they give full scholarships(,p.n.d.).To schools  like University of Arizona,University of Florida,University of Maryland,University of Wisconsin,and the University of Texas. Then from college you can be selected to play on one of the world teams like, Wales, England,Ireland, and France,when you're able to be on a world team you literally travel the world seeing new places and doing new things and meeting new people,so when your rugby career is over and it's time to get a job your able to work with anybody because your going to learn really good people skills.

On May 14, 2012 Teyana taylor, Harlem rapper was signed to Kanye West roster G.O.O.D M.U.S.I.C ( A.Osei 2012 p.1). She was previously signed to Pharrel Williams, but decided to move on ( A.Osei 2012 p.1).  After making a few songs with kanye and recording with him, she decided she wanted to officially join him. She is a good artist/rapper and from all the hype she will probably become more of an artist, have more fans, and be more known to the world. This is a good opportunity for her and will be very successful in the future.

Wade loses cool in Heat 94-75 loss to Pacers

In friday's night game against the Pacers, Dwayne Wade lost his cool out of frustration in the game. Players tried to cool Dwayne Wade down but he ignored them. I guess he was just mad at everyone because they were down.
